Silly baby

While I was taking a nap on Sunday she just wanted to be in the room with me and played in the closet. She got stuck on the shoe rack and couldn't get off! She makes the silliest faces.
This is the face she makes when she is helping us blow on her food to cool her food off. It is very funny.

She loves giving her baby kisses and hugs and she loves to look out the window with Rudy.

Grandma

Grandma Marie is now in Idaho for a year. So we went over there on Sunday and got a few pictures with her and the kids so that in a year we can see how much they have grown up!

We survived

Well we survived the first wind storm of the season. Power was out for about 6 hours and it was very windy. The baby took 2 naps and I got one too. Hopefully we don't have a storm like last year that took 3.5 days to get power back on and freezing temps. At least the baby is older and not 3 months old.

Sittin on a shelf

She got up on this shelf by her own power and then well, realized it wasn't that much fun! So of course I snap a picture before helping her out. Lately though she is finding hiding places under her crib, behind doors, on shelves it is very funny!

Tonight we were talking to my dad on the phone and Alexis came over and this is how the conversation went:

Daddy "Say hi to Grandpa"

Alexis gets really close to the phone and says really quietly "hhhi"

Then just to make sure that is what she really said we had her say it again "hhhi"

So cute and she says cat and dog! Quite the vocabulary she is getting. She still hasn't graced us with the "no" but I am sure it will come soon.

Apples, Apples, Apples

OK so we picked apples today. I think that she ate more then she picked, such a wonderful life. She loves being outside so this was a real treat to be outside eating an apple, which she has never ate before. We got all but the top ones picked and filled 2 of the crates. Now we are just trying to decide what to do with them applesauce, dry them, eat them who knows! Can I just say that she looks so much like me as a child, my next post will be a comparison picture for all to see.

I almost cried

Just now the baby and I were sitting here eating and she was getting fussy so I asked her if she wanted down and she shook her head no, so I asked her if she wanted more grapes and she shook her head yes. The thought struck me she can tell me what she wants now...What a huge accomplishment. She also signs more, please and eat, waves bye (not hi though). She loves to give kisses(BEware they have to be on the mouth) and she squeezes really tight for hugs. I love her!
